some of you may have seen some of the work i've already don to the van. but i'm starting this build log in this section because if i kept posting pix in the old thread it would turn into a build log in the wrong section of the fourm. so here we go.

my goal is to build the loudest possible ground pounder that i can within my little bugget. $200-$300 a month. i would like to have it completed by late feb because that is when mardi gras is. and that is wheir everybody brings out their new whips and show off. lots of imprompto sound offs. for the past year my car was the loudest as far as cars go, but with this van, i will be in with the big boys in my area and i'm trying to shut them down t00.

the van is a 97 astro van 2wd three row seating(rear row is comming out)

so this is what's going in it

subs- (4) DC AUDIO LEVEL 4 18'S, BOX 22cubes tuned 32-34, 300 sqi port. subs up port back. (looking for designer with cut sheet)

sub amp/s- ? still looking

mids- (36) VALCANO AUDIO 5" loudspeakers, (4) pioneer 5.25" neo mids

mids amp- (2) KICKER SX900.4 (just for the mids on the doors)

highs- (4) VALCANO AUDIO 5" high effiency tweeters(on doors near armrest), (16) 1" VALCANO AUDIO soft dome tweeters (4) on the doors, (8)in the front pillars,(4) in the rear pillars

highs amps- 2 KICKER 4ch amps (have not gotten them yet)

batts- optima d31's

when i build the doors, i forgot to take pix. and at the time i thought the fur would look cool. i have sence taken the fur off and i'm going to wrap the doors in gray vinal with a little foam underneath to give the flush look. so please take that in mind when looking at these pix.
