History: The belt on my alternator has been slipping (the load is 4x the stock load on the belt) and I need to solve that problem. Bass4Lyfe Posted January 2, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 2, 2009 (edited) Results DMM set on "min", amplifier ON car ON MIN VOLTS = 12.13 VDC Alt output around 200 amps, belt slipping a lot so I am missing out on that extra 50 amps any ideas?? the belt is TIGHT voltage drop @ 300amps from rear battery to amplifier is .08v RCA RMS voltage (AC) into amp, from line driver, 5-7. 10.3 v on a sin wave 35 hz (is this bad?)
