I was wondering what is the best way to tune my subwoofer EQ on the 3sixty... should i be playing songs and tuning it? using tones? Any information on how people did theirs the most efficient way so I don't mess anything up.
Decaf Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 doesnt it say in the 360.2 manual 1) check where the HU clips (HU ouptut) 2) Reset the 3sixty input with HU at clip point 3) play a gain overlap track, -5dB for full range(1000hz), -10dB or -5db (40hz says rf... id use 50hz)for subwoofer, then set the output level of the 3Sixty where this track just starts to clip (3Sixty ouptut) 4) then set the amp gain to where this track clips (Amp(s) ouptut) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rockford Corporation Design Engineer an eq shouldnt need to be used for 80hz and lower unless competing in sq comps, otherwise just set crossovers at ~70-80hz for sub lpf and mids hpf... higher the slope the better, usually
