Treo Ssx (pics) The Beast

i made anuther post with pics so maybe someone would look and help with 2 questons

first queston i bought 2 18"treo ssx subs got a good deal for 500.00 for both almost new and yes they work but my queston is can i run them o 2 saz3000's will they handel this if not i will gain it down i know they are rated at 2500wrms a piece but will it work

second queston on treos website it say 4cubes net apiece so i am building my box to treo's specs and it says 100sqin of port (seems small) do i need to do more say 125 or 150 i dunno plp tell me that more port area =louder and how deep do i make my port to get 31hz tunning treo says 21.5" and the box im building is 10 cubes gross so after dissplacments puts me around 8cubes plz help me so i can build my box heres a pic of one sub http://www.caraudio.com/forum/attachment.p...mp;d=1229308589

those treos have a 4" coil.

you'll be fine with a 3000D on each as long as the signal isnt clipped.

EDIT:

i would do 150 - 175 square inches of port.

what type of music do you listen too?

plz read the post again it 8 cubes after dissplacment i was quoating treo specs for for one sub i have 2

Well yeah... double the cone area, double the box size, double the port area. Is it that hard to work out?

8 cubes, 200 sq. inch if you're a bit crazy and want SPL with less musicality, 25" long port.
