m&c caraudio Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 wanting to know what is the best tuning for spl in a 01 tahoe my max dimensions are 49Wx36Dx22H about 22cubes. for 4-15's the last box built was about 14 cubes tuned to 35hz and it peaked at 150.9 at 49hz. this box is strickly for spl. not looking for a http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif just for the #'s. these are the subs ill be using if it'll help with approx.1000rms each for now.substhe subs are the first ones on top MEWO-M7-15DVC any idea's???

You know the box tuning is often like 3-4-5-6hz below the in-car peak, right? To hit my car's peak of 58hz I tuned the box to 54hz. 10.x volts fo' life!
