COULD THE BOX BE BIGGER THAT 3 SQ?
Decaf Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 STOP YELLING AT ME AND ILL HELP! why are you not gonna listen to ur email from the company what amp are you using? you can go bigger, but depends on some other things... no bigger than 4cuft is needed for those lvl3s right now hes got u tuned at ~35hz, a little high but depends on what ur looking for

Decaf Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 well for the 3cuft@35 w/45 i got 30w*16h*19d 2.998cuft 3" wide port, 26" long, 43.5sqin port 1 = 14.5" port 2 = 6.25" 34.83hz i included .1cuft for displacement of bracing or double baffle if you dont do either changes tuning to [email protected]

Decaf Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 ^ what he said... the longer the length of port the lower the tune frequency when using the same port susrface area try looking for amatt85's spreadsheet program in this section... pretty easy to use and you can do sealed, round port + slot port
