Yea I understand that but they had a diff sound to em.. idk how to explain it but Im thinkin that class BD has sumthin to do with it. creyc Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 Oh efficiency! The SAZ-3000D is awesome in that respect. Going from two SAE-1000D's to one 3000D (running at 2-ohm) is so much easier on my electrical system. And even though its 'technically' 400 watts LESS rated power, it definitely sounds louder to the ear. Guest KyleCannon Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 Reason why I at least like to know I have a little extra headroom is to know I can get 1500 watts out of my 1500 watt amplifier without it getting worked as hard or not reach that limit as much.
