infkt Posted February 3, 2009 Report Share Posted February 3, 2009 ok guys heres the deal, i need an alt bad but i dont know how long im going to keep this car. ive talked to mechman and he said he has an alt + bracket for me. but my queston is if i get a new car is it easy to get a new bracket made? or would i have to buy another alt for that car/truck, or should i get say a GM alt and then have him fab a bracket for my car and then if i dont get a GM vehicle after i could have someone or myself fab a bracket for whatever engine i get? im pretty much asking whats the best way to go about this? Also what amp alt should i looking into. My amp is a DD Z2 LV ( Rated at 8350@1ohm )the fuse rating say 650, i was thinking 380A and 2 or 3 PM 3100? jmitch Posted February 12, 2009 Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 it depends on what kinda car u have now and gettin later brackets isnt hard to fab yaself if u have the resources and maybe 1 more batt to be on the safe side and ahve u considered an MLA also?
