carLopogi
so i am in a dilemma on what kinda enclosure i will get my car is a sedan, and im leaning towards on making a t-line the fi bl 10's Fs is 40.3hz, and i read somewhere that the recommendation should be below 35hz Fs? well anyway, if i ever make a t-line, ill be tuning it at 40hz since its Fs is 40.3hz isn't that too high? cuz ive seen other t-lines tuned at like 27hz thinking of the hassle.. im also thinking to just make a regular slot port tuned to like 34hz.. thanks in advance! amazinblazin10
yeah you can tune it to 40hz and it'd still sound good... all the less length you have to add for your t-line so you can save some space, 1130/40.3=28.0397022333 quater wave it = 7.00992.. fuck you so you need a 7ft long port exact or 84in to be easier said. it should sound really good, and actually if you build it to 40hz i'm almost positive that'll it'll hit even lower than that and still get great response from it. 1997 Dodge Ram Van 2500 Big III addition with 1/0 awg wiring all throughout Lightning Audio Strike S4.1000.1D Jenson XA2250 2 - 12" Mtx Jackhammers JH55 3ft cubed box sealed under the rear bench seat Pioneer DEH-P6000UB head unit MB Quart FWA 160 components up front

Clif
You can really tune to what ever you want but i would stick to either the fs of your sub, or some other freq that you have a boost at either on your deck or with a processor. 40hz would probly be good for spl but i dont know how good it will do on the low end. You can also set a boost lower then your fs and tune the box to the boost level and you will have a wider peak. but let us know if you do go with 40hz how it sounds. 03 Trailblazer EXT LT In Dash Rear Flip Down Polk Audio Font & Rear Stage Hifonics Zeus 4 Chan Amp Hifonics Brutus Mono Amp 12" Rockford Fosgate Power HX2 T-Line tuned to 45hz 18"BTL T-line @31Hz (9 weeks pregnant)
