thehoe92
I just mounted the amp and battery this week and I was wondering if its possible to fuse between the amp and the secondary battery? I mounted the amp on some 2 inch long pvc pipe... I'll get a better picture tomorrow but the idea is that it is floating above the seat brace and there is 360 degrees of ventilation compared to if it was sitting on MDF. the hoe after a nice bath... and some more wiring... oh and thanks to Steve... jack
you should have a fuse within 18" of any battery to be safe, the fuse keeps the battery from meltdown if there happened to be a dead short somewhere Quote http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=29213 "sleeper build" (1) DC AUDIO Level4XL 10 (2) PowermasterD2700 batteries ALL FOR SALE TEAM DC AUDIO TEAM DIRTFLOORPOOR

thehoe92
you should have a fuse within 18" of any battery to be safe, the fuse keeps the battery from meltdown if there happened to be a dead short somewhere so what I have gathered is that it doesn't matter where on either side of the battery I put the fuse whether its between the amp and the battery or the battery and starter battery I just need to fuse it less than 18" away?
