You seem to realize whats getting ready to happen.

Be honest with your parents.

It only helps you in the end.

If you hide things from them and they find out the hard way it makes things so much worse.

I guess a lot of it is the typical teenager mentality of "it won't happen to me"

its always been in the back of mind that I would get pulled over eventually for SOMETHING on my car, I mean just looking at all the mods I've done recently its just giving me less and less of a chance of not being seen

I don't know that I'm so much as glad that it happened now but kind of thankful

if it didn't happen sooner things would have just snowballed worse and it would have been something worse

now its not as bad and I can look at it and learn from it and see what I have to do to maintain my car and keep it the way I like it to look while at the same time make it so I don't know every cop in roseville by first name

I would like to but its really not my main priority any more, if I get extra money to put towards a system then I will but otherwise I'm good off some loud and clear RF comps

and as for your last question in this thread all I have is a PCM tune by BlackBear Performance and my exhaust is cut at the muffler giving it a tad bit more performance

I love that its a 2 stage paint, I mean sure its difficult to keep clean but when it is clean its fucking CLEAN!!

a lot of people mistake it for all different sorts of colors, just read the comments in the Loud Friday Night video that Steve posted up everyone was asking why there wasn't a system in the blueish/grayish/blackish/greenish tahoe

they are minimal but I love them

I might try out a K&N air filter when my stock one goes bad see if I get anything out of that without actually buying the whole CAI setup

well got the rear brakes replaced over the weekend thinking it would stop the squeaking I've been having

got some ceramic pads..

didn't stop the squeaking, then my driver side front rotor started grinding, it sounded/felt like something was lodged between the rotor and the brake pad

used senior ball money to buy some front brake pads, ceramic and the guy that works at Autozone I was showing my tahoe when I got my oil and he was diggin it

pretty cool dude, I had $60 to spend and asked how much they were, he pulls it up and they were $59.99 and I was thinking of tax but then he was like nah I'll make it $60 even for you, then he grabbed some more brake grease and threw it in with the kit, thought that was hella cool of him

anyways got home and couldn't get the carrier bolt off so I gave up

went back out after dinner and realized I was doing it wrong

got the pads on the passenger side, and whats weird is the inner brake pad was worn down almost all the way while the outer one still had a lot left

get to the drivers side (the culprit) and peak my head over and see the rotor and its pitted to shit

I don't even have to rub my nail across it I can just rub my finger over it and feel it

that pad wore down all the way it was just burning the pad, and same with the outer one it was still decent amount left

oh well replaced everything, got it all situated

..start it up and get rollin

what do I hear? nothing

I was so happy I thought I would never be able to cruise silent again

I just need to service the brake booster, resurface that rotor, and service the air bag and I'll be back to square one with the hoe working great

The cai should make a bit of a difference, it would be worth it if you can find one used, and did you end up replacing your rotors or getting them resurfaced?
