Guest Cobrastang98 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Hey man truck looks nice with the rims on it, any scores?? Didn't wanna read through all 17 pages looking for it.
thehoe92 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 well you would have been disappointed reading all 17 pages and not finding a score because I haven't posted one. at WCF I posted up a 145.7 at 40 or 41hz I can't remember but thanks Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

thehoe92 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 yes sir! it was a burp though on music I can do 144.6 but that was in lake county and any of the competitors will tell you lake county sucks for db's because of the altitude Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
Guest Cobrastang98 Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 Thats a good score considering the amount of aurspace u have and not having a huge amount of power, you should be happy w/ both of them.
thehoe92 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 I am very happy with it being my first box but honestly I would have to say I'm lucky because before I joined this forum I was looking at the Fi website and it said 5-10 cubes for an 18 so I was like "eh fuck it 9 cubes is good with me" I had no idea how to design a box. if the money is right I will be building a 4th order this weekend for it and see how it does. my main goal is to slam so lows without my sub unloading and sounding sloppy but thanks again Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
98crewcab Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 you know what bro, for as small as that is, your tailgate, we can just smooth it out and possibly paint it here. I couldnt take on painting the whole thing, if you decide to do your doors as well, but we can shoot your tail. Just got off the phone with Steve. Butterflies, like talking to a god but way down to earth and cool as hell. But hes going to wait a bit, talk to a couple buddies about paint. And then we'll get his smoothed out. So, when you ready to make this^^^pic a reality? also, you wanna roll pan it while we are at it? 06 2500hd, 6.0L, 4l80e, 4wd, (muah work truck) 7" BDS HC lift kit (5) 37x13.5R18 Toyo Open Country M/Ts (5) 18x10 Moto Metal MO962 tablet in lieu of deck blue tooth interconnect to soundstream eq (for volume control and bass control) 4 Alpine type r 10's 6 cubes net, 80sqin's port, tuned to 33hz 2 brutus brx5000.5's 2 pairs 3" polk audio for a pillars 4 pairs polk audio 6.5 comps 1 pair 8" polk audio for mids 2 xspower d3400 batteries.....learning alot from meade and his circle of some of the baddest installers ive seen- thanks guys, for not being so cocky and posting the way it should be done!P.S. thehoe92 Posted September 28, 2009 Author Report Posted September 28, 2009 yeah its really weird talking to him on the phone you don't really know what to think of it good lord you hit everything on the nail! john was telling me that you did your own roll pan and ever since I wanted a roll pan I was thinking of how I was going to get it welded on and was going to ask Steve but when he told me that I got all giddy. but yes I would like to roll pan it and get that back painted. if you can I would like to get a lot of my panels painted because of scratches and before when there were fender flares on it wore away some of the paint/clear coat so you can see a perfect outline of the fender flare. 98crewcab Posted September 28, 2009 Report Posted September 28, 2009 yea, did my rollpan, my caddy's, doing my doors today or tomorrow, no problem http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/dirol.gif I wouldnt want to try your sides, painting them, just dont have the space to do your whole truck. Cant do one panel at a time, depending on temp and humidity, they could end up looking different next to each other, but your whole back end turns the corner, so we can shoot that no prob. can even blend the new clear to the rear quarters being that the spot is so small. but cool, plan on finding a roll pan, and we can get er going 06 2500hd, 6.0L, 4l80e, 4wd, (muah work truck) 7" BDS HC lift kit (5) 37x13.5R18 Toyo Open Country M/Ts (5) 18x10 Moto Metal MO962 tablet in lieu of deck blue tooth interconnect to soundstream eq (for volume control and bass control) 4 Alpine type r 10's 6 cubes net, 80sqin's port, tuned to 33hz 2 brutus brx5000.5's 2 pairs 3" polk audio for a pillars 4 pairs polk audio 6.5 comps 1 pair 8" polk audio for mids 2 xspower d3400 batteries.....learning alot from meade and his circle of some of the baddest installers ive seen- thanks guys, for not being so cocky and posting the way it should be done!P.S. thehoe92 Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 yeah I get what you mean I'll call up fender bender international and see what they can do for me on the roll pan side of things. EDIT: as much as it sucks to copy meade this is still the cleanest roll pan on a tahoe IMO but anyways today was quite the weird day for the hoe. front speakers stopped working and then they worked again when I got out of school. my sub sounds a lot louder now that I got it oscoped thanks again zak all of a sudden I was able to full tilt a song at idle and it didn't drop voltage at all. I can full tilt a whole entire song without them getting warm or smelly a suggestion to anyone and everyone... get your amps oscoped it is the best feeling knowing you aren't clipping Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
