SQMonte Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 thanks! from what I have heard its not really chrome lip its a stainless lip. its tricky to clean but thats what I use on the lip. still haven't found anything good to use on the black part besides a damp microfiber Since the black is painted or powdercoated, you treat it the same as you would the body of your car......wash and wax. Actually instead of waxing them you should apply a sealant cause it'll last way longer and will make cleaning them alot easier too. The easiest one to get would be Meguiar's NXT 2.0 spray wax....they call it a wax but it's actually a sealant. Even Megs Ultimate QD would be a good product to use on them too cause that shit protects for like 30 days easily! thehoe92 Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Posted October 5, 2009 but I don't know how to do the 55 stage process I use 3 different microfibers while cleaning my rims one is for the heavy metal metal polish to apply to the lip. another is to wipe off the polish on the lip and the last is for the black part of the rim that is sprayed with the UQD and then wiped on to the black part Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
