My New Subwoofers

Recommended Posts

So I know for these subs I need to stay within 3-5 cubes. Whats the difference if I go the smaller route vs the bigger route?

Looking at my space, I can go close to 5 each and tune to 33-35 hz. This would be with my back seats folded in and above the window line.

If I want to keep under the window line and behind my back seat this is what I came up with using the RE box calculator.

38 wide

20 deep

23 tall

6 inch slot port, area of 111 tuned to 35hz

This gives me 6.725 internal space. Would this be enough for the two lvl4xl's?

Good rough numbers there- just over 6cuft will work but keep in mind the RE calculator is just a bit off so you may need to re crunch your numbers before building
