  1. sherwood a100x2 on two optimus 8's.
  2. So, its time to build a new box for this sub. The baffle has slowly come loose on the current box and it sounds like crap on the low low notes. Building a new box, all 1 inch MDF with a little bracing and two 4 inch precision ports. Ill try and make a vid of the old box so you know why I am replacing it. Here is a pic of what got done today. Got all the cuts done. Cut the ports down to size. Drew out the port holes. Tomorrow gotta assemble, draw the sub hole and router out the holes then round over the edges. Probably just go down to home depot and pick up some rattle cans and spray it flat black again. More updates tomorrow.
  3. If you already got the 1500 then a DC XL 15". I am VERY happy with mine.
  4. Ok your in Indiana, my guess is they might be some of the prototype subs I got from a company that went under in Florida. They used TC as their build house. Does it look like a 10oem sub but with the silver aluminum cone? Does it have a high roll surround? Is it single voice coil with a triple stack magnet? If so I will shoot you some specs.
  5. Well i got it all in today. The Stetsom amp is kind of amazing how it puts out the power it does in such a small footprint. There is one drawback to these amps though, the fan. It is noisy in a hatch or SUV when the volume is down. Im going to built a better box though. I got this one for free and it works for now but the ring I had to make looks like crap.
  6. This has been in the works for some time now. This will be my setup for a while now. Time and money, mostly money has been an issue so I cant afford to keep changing things up anymore. The only thing that will change will be the box. I may try to build different ones and see what works best. Currently I am keeping my OEM Navigation Unit and CD Changer. I am also powering my OEM "premium" speakers with a US Amps AX-TU4360. For being OEM speakers they get decently loud and have really good mid-bass, plus they take the power from the 4360 like champs. There was a big improvement in sound just by powering them with the 4360 vs. the OEM amp. In addition to that I also am running the signal through a Rockford Fosgate 360.2 which I am sure is helping with the sound quality improvement I hear. The sound is louder, cleaner and I have more control over it with the 360.2. The sub I will be using: DC Audio lvl4XL 15'' The sub amp: Stetsom 1K5H 2ohm More pics to come. I am using a box I got for free as a temp box until I get around to building a new one.
  7. Looking good. I absolutely love my 360.2, does wonders for my stock system, I can only imagine what yours sounds like.
  8. You can try sugar to try and stop the bleeding. How to stop bleeding For small cuts, yes, sugar can help stop the bleeding. The sugar forms a paste with the blood and thus helps it clot more quickly. In addition, sugar has some antibacterial properties which will help the wound heal quicker. With larger wounds however, sugar tends to make you bleed more, so you should not apply sugar to such a wound till after the bleeding has stopped. The antibacterial properties are what make sugar an effective home remedy for wounds, rather than any ability to stop bleeding, which as mentioned, is not always the case. Besides, for smaller wounds, there is usually no need to stop bleeding, as this happens naturally within a short time. Honey is also recommended to stop bleeding and disinfect the wound. However, avoid using other home remedies such as cayenne pepper or spider webs. Some such remedies may infect the wound, while others may cause unnecessary pain without providing much benefit. The best way to stop bleeding is to apply pressure to a wound. You can even simply use your fingers to do this, but make sure that your hands are clean. If you can, use a soft, clean, absorbent cloth instead, pressing down on the wound gently but firmly. answered by G R on 22 Feb 2008, 5:35:17 ALSO if this problem persists or another one shows up or ANY other symptoms show up, GO SEE A DOC. You dont want it to be MRSA and die. MRSA is no joke and i beleive it causes sores like that.
  9. That is a scam. I got the same thing for the amp I am selling. Was it from a mr thomas for something? I replied and gave them a little peice of my mind.
  10. Which one and why? I will be using either a RFT1500 or Stetsom 1k5 so I will have about 1500 watts to play with. What would be the best option for the space I have? This is in a small SUV. I had a single 18 in 7 cubes on 2000 watts and was disappointed with the numbers. Only did a 139.7 at about 35hz. I would like to be in the 140's with music.
  11. BNIB DC LVL4xl 15 dual 1ohm $300 plus shipping. Still in plastic.
  12. I got a BNIB DC LVL4XL $275 plus shipping. It is Dual 1ohm, You can wire it to a single 2 ohm load.
  13. Im thinking of doing two 15 lvl3's sealed. It's more so because of space for me. I know I could go 12's ported but I have never rocked 15's and my next setup MUST be 15's.
  14. Why did GM need a bailout? oh right....that's it. Dont care what ads say or jd power says, until consumer reports shows at least five years of good dependability from GM I would not buy them. Went through three chevy's myself until I learned my lesson. Kept telling myself it was normal wear n tear,LOL.
  15. he said butt plug lol Try stiching them yourself if they wont warranty it. At that point you wouldnt have much else to lose right?
  16. http://www.batterymart.com/p-schumacher-15-10-2-amp-charger.html Will this work to charge the D3400 I just purchased?
  17. So I purchased a XS D3400, their wattage guide says its good for 2500 rms as a primary battery. Is this true? Im planning on running a RF T1500BD and some small 50-60wattX4ch amp. Will this one battery really be enough?
  18. yeah i will text him when i get home tonight around 9pm. Its good to see there are some forum members here from Gilroy.
