lazeris
So I know for these subs I need to stay within 3-5 cubes. Whats the difference if I go the smaller route vs the bigger route? Looking at my space, I can go close to 5 each and tune to 33-35 hz. This would be with my back seats folded in and above the window line. If I want to keep under the window line and behind my back seat this is what I came up with using the RE box calculator. 38 wide 20 deep 23 tall 6 inch slot port, area of 111 tuned to 35hz This gives me 6.725 internal space. Would this be enough for the two lvl4xl's? Edited March 20, 2009 by lazeris
lazeris
Anything? Should I have put this as a seperate topic in the enclosure section?
Noobtastic14
Good rough numbers there- just over 6cuft will work but keep in mind the RE calculator is just a bit off so you may need to re crunch your numbers before building -Drew Edited March 20, 2009 by Noobtastic14 Quote I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. lazeris
Will it be like a 3db difference if I go 4.5 cubes per sub vs. 3 cubes?
