4 Kicker L7's In A 08 Trailblazer Ss

just my 2 cents but, 30hz is hella low for kickers, their prefabs are like 40, and they recommend like 38-42 in the manuals for a reason, theyre not lowend beasts, let em shine at what theyre good at, 45hz, thanks to transfer functions and vehicle resonant frequencies its going to be much louder in car, and have a more...brutal...hit. it may be one of those things where you can get 2db and still have good music just by tweaking the port design for higher tuning

im some guy he knows, who has done some impressive stuff with kickers.

I've seen and heard hundreds, personally installed dozens, and have designed quite a few boxes for everything from comps to l5's to solo-x's

from experience, they are happier with a higher tuning and a good subsonic filter, kicker recccomends it for a reason, and from experience they're pretty much on point. tuning to like 32 or 29 or whatever isnt bad necessarily, its that the output is noticable lowered, and unless you go around all day banging c&s music or stuff like "i love your girl", its unneccesary.
