Chris Posted February 6, 2007 Report Share Posted February 6, 2007 well ur subs are single voice coil 4ohm each and you have a 400watt rms monoblock. each 12 is rated at only 150rms so if you wire your subs + to+ and -to- then that would give you a parallel connection and a 2ohm load on the amp and would run each sub with 200 rms which would probably be fine, just make sure to fine tune your gain adjustment and put the subs in a good box. a box makes ALL the difference EDIT: P.S: welcome to the forum chris, im chris 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR.
