New Iraggi Alternator

Finally got my build done.

I am so happy with it, the Bl just pounds my streets, especially since no one around here has heard of an 18" besides someones eye popping out

Anyways I have noticed slight light dimming when I turn the PowerBass remote up full tilt.

Now my Tahoe has about 109,000 miles on it and I have jumped some people a few times which I heard is not good for the alternator.

I'm new to the alternator thing and I was wondering exactly what I need.

Technically I am running 1500 watts off the RF t1000Bd and I have a Kinetik HC1400 with one run of 1/0 gauge.

So I was thinking around an 80 amp idle/220 amp max Iraggi.

I could be completely wrong though but I think that would be more than sufficient if I plan on upgrading to one more sub and a new set of RF highs and mids.

I thought they had a website that I could go on a browse around on but I guess not, all I have seen is them on eBay.

So any suggestions?

Do I need an alt bracket?

I am going to do the Big 3 as well.

glad to see you got your buiild going. is that kinetik 1400 up front or at the rear? also, since you mentioned that your going to upgrade later and if your money is right, i would just go with a 250-300 amp alt. its always better to have that extra power when needed. bracket is not recommended for a single alt i think. should drop right in. i should of got an SUV, 200 amp alt max for my civic from iraggi. then again, everyone gots SUV's.

The 1400 was originally going to be in the second battery tray of my engine compartment but I put it under one of my seats.

That is true about having the necessary power when needed but if I am not using it I am partially concerned about horsepower since it is such a high output alternator. Honestly, I shouldn't care since I am already in deep with the SUV but it will always be in the back of my mind.

Also, are there any good tutorials on here about installing an alternator.

Like what to do with the pin that connects to the Iraggi.

I don't like just connecting wires without knowing there purpose yano?

you would have to ask the iraggi man himself. to be honest, i thought they were plug N play alts. should plug right in your stock plug/wiring. thats my guess.

On your vehicle you wont need a bracket to run a High Output alternator, it should be a plug and play no matter how your vehicle was equipped.. 220 amps is a good starting point, but 80 amps at idle isn't so good, your stock 145 amp AD244 will do about 100 at idle..

Haha drivin down foothills. lol sounds good tho. but you should shoot jake a message about db linc alts they are so much cheaper and they put out more at idle, and a 220 alt will put out around 150 at idle.
