Just trying to do it right the first time. use lots of wood glue. thats what holds it together, not the screws, even tho they do help hold it together wood glue and clamps first 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 4 Kicker CVX 12's (under construction)
fischy fisch Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 dont worrie about wood glue use liquid nails and take your time and not screw anything in place till your positive lol. but i haven't and i don't plan on it. plus i'd probably miss and hit her belly button or her ear or something. lol.
aznboi3644 Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 liquid nails sucks...I've had seams blow...never an issue with wood glue. Liquid nails just sticks the boards together....glue BONDS them together. Also liquid nails gets a "skin" on the bead after the bead is laid down making the surface of the adhesive dry and not sticky...its crap. Wood glue is stronger than liquid nails...proven fact. liquid nails is a pain in the ass to clean up and wiping up excess is bullshit.
fischy fisch Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 if you take your time with it liquid nails is great plus i dont see then putting concreat block to geather with wood glue and the crncreat brack before the liquid nail bonds brake lol. but i haven't and i don't plan on it. plus i'd probably miss and hit her belly button or her ear or something. lol.
