mrafrica Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 ok i dont have my durango right now because its in the shop getting the trans rebuilt. so i cant do measurements and stuff in it. but when i wason db-r there is only a $50 differnece between the 12 and 18. so i was looking into getting 2 18's. if i do that im gonna take the third row completly out. there for i will have more space for the box so i wont have to make the box too tall or deep.but what would you guys recomend for them as far as box volume? im looking at the new sundown 3500 but i might end up going with the 3000. i will start with only one of what ever size i choose then i will go with two. cause i have to piece it together and save and whatnot. i will have the stock alt of course. but i will probibly put another stock one in or have a stock one rewound depending on how much they are and how much im pullin in. the subs will be around 1100. the amps ill get referbs so they will be abit cheaper. and then im gonna get some bats for it too. id forgot to mention the highs and headunit. im getting a sundwon amp for the highs of course and a pioneer headunit. then i still need to decided on some components. i will need 2 sets maybe 3 if i do some pods for the cargo area And far as the best connection ever....... get a huge fucking battery, cut the top off, drop an alt in there and then pour all that into your big amplifier. or just smelt them all together.
