I am assuming that the rear is leaf springs? but are they on top of the axle or on the bottom? if they are on top you could use a small block to gain 2 to 3 inches and that is pretty cheap and you can do it your self. the front is probably IFS and that can be a little tricky and thats when a kit might be nice to have.

Yes the rear is leaf springs with axle on top of of them i would just switch the axle to go on bottom of the springs but what about the front? would just spindles work for ifs?

look at rough country lifts they have cheap prices. body lifts are easy as hell to put on and u can order one for lik 150 for that truck. ur not gonna get a 6" lift for "cheap" and it also be safe. suspension lifts are expensive. i know rough country makes spindle lifts for the front end for 2 wheel drives that are pretty cheap. look at www.performancelifts.com too.
