civichatch
whats wrong with the wood? it works iv got the subs all on different setups iv got them on switches so i can play what i like. some songs sound better on tens than a 15. my head unit isnt shit i paid 140 for it. and yes i have 6 peakers to it. MDF is what you should use. And running 6 speakers off your head unit is not a smart idea. Since each of those speakers are probably getting 4-7 watts rms each. I to run my speakers off my deck but only because i dont have the money to upgrade my electrical to be able to power 2 amps. And i only run 4 speakers off my deck. civichatch
Yes mdf sounds way better than plywood if thats what you used. I made the mistake of building a box out of plywood too. I just didn't know better. Now look at the box I just built. Mazda's box is AWSOME. Learn from how he did his. Great job on that box again man. AlpineGuy87
you want some nice SPL subs man, or atleast one 15 SPL sub, get the Fi.BL or Fi.BTL i mean, i dont know anyone here that hates steve mead's subs.. lol.. I really think if you want some good SPL go with Fi car audio and built a nice MDF box for it and get a real nice amp to run it and even get a nice amp to run your components. 06 SCION tC

civichatch
kk. Even if you were to make a new box out of MDF. And just get a new amp im sure it will pound ALOT HARDER. And it wont cost much to do those 2 things. $270 at the max. Here is a great amp and will power that 15" nicely. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6188_P...ik+A1000DB.html Then just go down to your local hardware store and pick up some sheets of 3/4 MDF.
