Mikesmith0890
Just as title states. The car supposedly already had the big 3 upgrade. I went through and double checked everything and its not a complete big 3 upgrade. Worst of all its with really cheap 4 gauge. So if anyone has some extra 0 gauge laying around. I can pay by paypal or i have some things to trade. LMK Thanks Mike Quote AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever! brewer_brewer
most of the time you can get away with not replacing the stock wires but simply adding on to them. if you have the stock 4 gauge plus another 4 gauge added on its essentially 0 gauge, not exactly but close. Mikesmith0890
well the main thing is that not all of it was done like its supposed to be. So i'm just going to go through and do it all with 0 gauge added on to the stock electrical that way I know that it is done right. brewer_brewer
what kind of car? i've got enough to go from the alt to the batt. but its was in a focus and its prolly not long enough unless you've got a small engine bay or the batt is close to the alternator. go to your local audio shop and if its a good shop they usually have used 0 gauge laying around that they'll sell ya. Mikesmith0890
Ehh the only good shop here was back in the day when my dad was their installer and they've since shut down and relocated.. Now we only have one and its quite mediocre. The car is an '83 camaro and the alt and the batt are practically right next to each other.. no more than 2 feet Edited February 19, 2009 by Mikesmith0890 Quote AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever!
