try redownloading the calc. a little while back, someone brought a little flaw to my attention and basically i was taking the height out twice for whatever reason. should be fixed now i believe. sorry for that :peepwall:

i uninstalled and reinstalled your program and it does the same thing still.

can you PM me a screen shot of it? if you dont mind so i can better explain or see what's happening

EDIT: errr...by uninstall and reinstall...you mean delete and redownload right? because there is no install process. just a new copy you'd need

yea thats what i mean. and i tried a screen shot and i dont know how. but bow width is 49, height is 23, depth is 14. port is height 12.5, width 8, and depth is 15. sub displacment is .186. 3 common port walls. and over to the side it say port bends yes, but it doesnt. and it says physical port length is 6.25

What is the displacement of a 2x4 that runs top to bottom of a box and one from side to side????

2 * 4 * (length of the 2x4). which i think the actual measurements are (1.5 * 3.5 * (length)) / 1728. that'll get your displacement. add all that together and put that in the bracing displacement box

Alright well since I'm a dumbass and didn't understand that can you do it for me lol i have 2x4 that is 20.5" that goes from top to bottom and another that goes from side to side that is 46.5!!!!

since a 2x4 is not really 2"x4", we'll use 1.5"x3.5"

1.5 * 3.5 * 20.5 = 107.625

1.5 * 3.5 * 46.5 = 244.125

add those together to get 351.75. that's your volume in inches. divide that by a cubic foot in inches (1728) to get your volume in feet. you get .2 for your bracing displacement.
