bigjoe Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 i sent my little cousin out today to buy a n amp installation kit. he bought 2 of them for 40$. were going tconnect them. he drives a suburban and the one wire didnt fit to his trunk so we had to use another. now the jerkoff at the store gave him a 1000 watt cable and an 850 watt cable in the store and wont let him return it. i could use the 850 and 1000 watt wire together correct? or will it just sound shitty. let me get some help before i go make this guy seem like a lil girl lol
2000s-10 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 what size are the wires ? and what size fuses. you planned on just hookinh both the wires together cause the one wasnt long enough to get to the back of the burban? is that what your trying to do? if so if the wires are the same gauge you can do it. and if your gunna run both fuses i would imagine they would both have to be the same size. 1999 grand prix gt kenwood x994 head unit 1/0 big 3 all shok industry single run to the back New mid/highs coming not sure what Soundqubed q2200d at .5 (have) 2 soundqubed hdc3 12s (have) New box to be built.. sealed firing forward (yet to be designed) 200 amp alt not sure exact size or manufactor xs power batts
