Guest
reconing a sub just replaces the soft parts, aka the cone, dust cap, voice coil, spider system. the frame stays there and the screws should not be removed

dwright27
reconing a sub just replaces the soft parts, aka the cone, dust cap, voice coil, spider system. the frame stays there and the screws should not be removed unless the basket is broken. i used a #2 phillips and not on a drill either. get the sub to hold still and use both hands and alot of force. one of my screws on my level 3 10 was a litle stripped. the #2 should prevent this from happening. Boon
Impact screwdriver. Set that bitch on there and bash it with a hammer, couple of good taps and those screws will be begging to come out Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
