fukas
So recently I haven't really been driving my car too much because a few months back I got in a wreck which resulted in my insurance rates flying through the roof. (only the misc. parts were torn off engine wise the car still runs no damage to the good stuff). So I have just had the car sitting around in the garage and every now and then I crank up what little car audio I do have and enjoy it before I sell the car to the junk yard. I've had to redo all of it because I decided I wasn't happy with the way it was all setup too many wires all over the place etc.. but it's been so long since I've messed with the car that there really hasn't been much progress but I wanted to show off what I do have, and hopefully get a few vids up of my little system. Keep in mind I'm VERY new to car audio and this system setup was the first one I ever bought and I haven't really gotten around to buying a new system. But this kicks hard enough for me to satisify myself and impress others that have no idea that my system isn't that great! *shh* Right now Head Unit: JVC KD avx33 (no audio outputs sadly) Sub woofer: 1x 12" JBL ~250rms 1000w peak Amp: Sony Xplod XM-ZR1852 ~250rms 1000w peak Power cable: 8g street wires Audio cable: 12ft Rockford Fosgate Battery: Original battery that came with the car in 97 LOL Front/Rear speakers are stock but but out no bass so its good trebble.. In the future.. 1998 Eclipse GS-T 0g streetwires Amp: Audiopipe AP30001d (little recommendation from someone right here at the forum) Sub woofers: Either Fosgate 15's DC 15's or Fi 15's And for the rest.. I have no idea but this is just a overall of the power I want. And pics.. Tore the dash off and remounted the head unit to add a converter box to make it ipod compatible via dash Since the head unit doesn't have any outputs on the box I picked up a line inverter from walmart and proceeded to kill the wiring below.. My little subwoofer in a non port box My amp which is yes.. screwed down to a piece of wood (it was getting too hot and I needed to add weight to the amp since I can't mount it. Yes! The ground cable is going down inside the tire well LOL And my cables are a bit messy after putting it all back in.. after taking it out to transfer to another car.. which I decided not to do. So what do you guys think? lol. Edit: my copy and paste misfunctioned so I had the same pics for everything.. fixed.
