if i resin the inside of my box do i have to sand it?

if i have to sand should i might as well put some mat down a lil extra strength wudnt hurt.

i also want the inside of my box to be black since i have a port should i paint it black then resin or opposite?

and should i resin inside the port?

if you use polyester resin you wont have to sand home depot stuff is poly. you can just get pigment to change the color of the resin from tap plastics but painting it after you resin will come out more constant than the pigment. and the port it wont hurt anything so i say do it

also, resinging the port should help your numbers and airflow from what ive read on here because its less rough and resistant.
