Neo_frog
Does anyone have a study guid that they want to get rid of?? http://www.mecp.com/study_guides.asp That's the link to order it. Schools only teach you the basics. Like Ray said, in car time is the only thing that really matters. I guess for the job you need it though. Quote Need an install? stereomayhem
I have been certified for 12 years. I just studied for the test at home and took the test at the library. Got to redo it every couple of years. Most of the schools look pretty cool but nothing is better than hands on. Keep up on the new technologies and work on as many cars as you can. Just be careful to CYA as far as insurance goes. Quote www.stereomayhem.com
kylecm85
i have been to iit in florida, also had snake pit training and mobile solutions training i have a mecp basic working on the advanced in the next month along with ase its an advantage to u to get certified. You might not start installing right out of school but its a good way to get into a shop and get started on the right foot. Forevrbumpn
I was Auto sound Specialist back in 99' - 00' But I looked in the MECP website, they compressed the 5 certificates they had to 3 I got mine when I worked at Fry's Electronics Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Justin
Well i was set on going but when they said the interest on the loan was 12% I have been having seconde thoughts. And the way it sounds is that I can just study and take the test. I know I have tones to learn but I think I will be fine. Waht kinda things are on the test? Or I mean what was the most difficult on the test? O and I would love to go but its alot of moneys that I dont have. I got finaced for the school but then I need another 4,000 for a place to stay and food.
