BassBoy69
Ok so on my neon that has air bags on it, the rims are a 40 offset, and in the back once drops rubs,.. the inner wheel lip rubs a bar of the suspension once i adjust my air ride, so iv had to use wheel spacers in the back, i dont like spacers i like having hub centric rims on,.. and having them safe.. i found some new rims, that are a 38 offset.. so how will that be.. more rub? or less.. or do i need to get ahigher then 40 offset ? and i have to be carful now to have a rim that sicks out because when i go to trun shape the out part of the tires may rub inside the front fenders... randomsuper
lower offset means it'll be closer to the fender. from a +40 to a +38 means you'll be 2mm closer to the fender. measure the clearance you need and order wheels with a proper offset to ensure you aren't rubbing. rubbing on the fender is an easy fix, get em rolled or stretch your tires and you should be fine. ChevyBoy
by saying fender, it could be inner or outer. doesnt help here. the lower the number, the further out the wheel will stick.

randomsuper
i should have specified outer fender but i'm pretty sure bassboy understood. you need a lower offset wheel. don't go nuts though. too low and tucking will get tricky. I just want to get a wheel that fits right for once, so ima do some research to find a nice rim..
