roscoe1129 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 sooooooo, loaned my 8 gig ( small i know) ipod touch to a friend for what I thought was gonna be a day, he in turn disappeared for almost 3 months with it in his possession. Got it back today and came home chargeit up resync it and find out the left half of the touch doesnt work. I have a feeling he may have dropped it in water.... (he has a habit of doing that with small electronics) What can I do besides sending it to apple to repair???? Your time:cost does not out weigh the benefits of just getting a used one cheap off Craigslist. Apple will pretty much warranty anything except water damage, look in the headphone jack to see if its white or pink and also the one under the dock connection.
