rookie023
i have a 02' tahoe and i tinted the windows, before my tahoe i also had a 00' z71 silverado same body style and with both i had a problem with my front windows scratching. i tinted the front windows and from rolling them up and down there is a very noticeable line in the same spot in both vehicles straight down the window. i was just curious if anyone else has had this problem and might kno how to fix it. thanks. -Jeremy Quote 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 4 Kicker CVX 12's (under construction)

The Performer
It must be something that the window is rolling down in a certain spot that's rubbing the tint. Try and make sure the weather stripping at the door there is clean and no roughness that is going to scratch the tint. Quote CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything. windowtinter
clean out the seal across the bottom you can wipe it with a wet microfiber or you can find moleskin to put on the inside of the seal which helps alot but can still hold onto small dirt and sand which is the main cause.
