kryptonitewhite
Maybe askin in the maxxonics section on here will yeild a better answer from someone that works on them. The 200watts or so that will be missin wont be that noticable either. i would really like a definite answer on actual hifonics power too, but most ppl say its a little over rated i guess my main concern is the lanzar want't nearly enough power for my IB3 18. I am hoping the BXI has just enough more... basically I had it figured out on the volume knob where I could listen for a long period of time VS where if I listened too long the sub would get a bit warm/stinky. At that same point I noticed going any louder wouldn't actually make the sub much louder... so i think it was clipping... and if I pushed it just a bit more again I could hear a little clipping. So guessing the sub wanted 200-400 more watts, if this hifon makes 200-400 more watts at 2 ohms as well, it should be perfect. ChevyBoy
It all depends on how they are designed dude...just how some of the t2ks make the same power at 2 and 1..... some t2k's make more power at 2 ohm than 1 ohm :tease: snafu already posted that the bench couldnt put out the power that the amp called for at 1 ohm. being 2 ohm is more efficient, its put out more power. if that bench could give the t2k more power, it wouldve done better at 1 ohm. kryptonitewhite
I kind of browsed around cuz I thought I saw a thread once of bench tested amps... I can't find it again Quote IB3 22"
