Audioguy564 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 They are transformers for impedance matching. they were big in the 80's and early 90's. it would work both ways. you could run 1 ohm woofers on a 4 ohm amp or 4 ohm woofers on a 1 ohm amp. it was reversable, Rockford made these too back in the day.
