I have been researching the components needed to be able to upgrade your dd-1 to work for you. Please send it in and we'll take care of it. Please include all your information and state that it needs the high voltage upgrade.

Please visit the Distortion Detector section on our website for an important Technical Service Bulletin. A link to the Technical service bulletin is located at the bottom of the page. Distortion Detector Product Page For warranty service please contact D'Amore Engineering at [email protected] Do Not Contact West Coast Car Audio or Steve Meade.

Here is a couple of things to check: 1. Did you turn off sound check on itunes? (sound check will change the level of the tracks to a normalized level and the tracks will no longer be calibrated) 2. When you ripped the tracks off the disk did you use the highest bit rate available? (Low bit rates will cause distortion in some cases) Please check every component down the signal path or test the DD-1 on another set-up to verify if defective. You can send the DD-1 in for us to check and service if a problem exists.

Site is back up, Had some issues with our host but it has all be resolved. Please try to download the test disk and let me know if you encounter any more issues.

You know we had to do it right!

All I have to say is Patent Pending! If they try to sell in the US it will be lawsuit time! China doesn't understand why the best components are used in a precision tool and will probably screw it up. Juan Rodriguez D'Amore Engineering

A couple of months back I could of hooked you up with some parts but now its just not possible. Rockford will sell the transformer and If I remember correctly you had to change 2 resisters to open up the regulation a bit.

Just added two items. any offers?

Multimeter circuits are very simple. this meter will be just right for a starter and would be good.

They are transformers for impedance matching. they were big in the 80's and early 90's. it would work both ways. you could run 1 ohm woofers on a 4 ohm amp or 4 ohm woofers on a 1 ohm amp. it was reversable, Rockford made these too back in the day. I had one in my office for a while.

Hey guys my name is Juan I've been into car audio since I was 14, started repairing amplifiers for friends and family. I landed a job with Rockford Fosgate in 2001 and worked there for 8 1/2 years. I was support engineer for the T15KW project with my good friend Tony. I designed a few things of my own, that might be in your car. Any questions feel free to ask, I have so much knowledge of how everything works inside car audio equipment. One of my duties at Rockford was failure analysis and production support. I heard about Steve when he ordered the two T15KW's for his big install. Tony and I hand build those two units and we put well over 4 months just building them and making sure they were ready to go out. I got to meet Steve when he came down to Tempe for the RTTI Topgun program. I even got him wasted at Cherry Lounge out here in Tempe. Fun Times! look forward to being able to help and make this place better for everyone.

usually a good rule when installing door speakers

you just have to wire it up and see. It could be exactly what you were looking for or it might just not

The main power fuse for the radio harness is the lighter fuse under the hood. There is no accessory fuse as it is controlled via the data line. that's what the module is for.

You can get a compustar with pager in the mid 200's on ebay. thats if your doing the install, because that would be extra. nice alarm one of the first companies to do the remote pager.

rockford T1500-1BD or the pre 2004 1000BD

that's extensive work. I guess go big or go home!

I recommend you go with punch or power series. That amp will trip protection at 1ohm

Congrats! ! ! Have fun and be safe. I usually use my glock 23 with a 30 round clip. tons of fun!

That is the MB line made in China. They still maintain some of the MB Quart design.

anything made by the audiovox company. very good and cheap. I've used prestige and never had a problem.

I run MB Quart Q's and they are very loud with 320 watts going to them.

Nice work brother, hope everything is good with you.
