Quick Wire Question

To hook up my subs, i want to use 8 gauge wiring. is there like specific 8 gauge speaker wire or can i use 8 gauge power and ground wire? thanks

It's all really the same, but if you want it to look nice and clean check out knukonceptz, they have the pos n neg wire in one sleeve, keeps everything nice n clean looking

Its ok to use 8 guage power wire, its what i use. I havent seen wire labeled as speaker wire under 12 guage.

do i need to buy ground wire for negative connections or can i just use red power wire for all connections?

the color of the wire isnt gonna make a difference, i would prefer like a red pos and like a black or grey neg, that way nothing gets confused and you dont accidently get your subs out of phase

Its all copper. but having different colored wires helps
