Need Help Wiring Aq Hdc3 15"

JUST GOT MY AQ HDC3 15 AND AQ1200D AND GANNA RUN IT AT 1OHM...NOW FIRST OFF I GATTA KICKER 0 GUAGE KIT AND I C IT WONT FIT IN THE AMP FOR POWER AND GROUND HOW CAN I RUN IT TO THE AMP... AND SECOND IF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT AUDIOQUE THE AMP HAS 4 SPEAKER CONNECTIONS - - + + AND THE HDC3 15 GOT 8 GUAGE WIRE I THINK ALREADY HOOKED TO THE DUAL VOICE COILS ALL SEPERATE WIRES CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW I WOULD RUN THEM IN THE AMP TO GET 1OHM THANKS

First you have to quit SCREAMING!!!!!! at people. You have to run the 1/0 through a distrobution block to to feed a smaller gauge wire into the amp, that's the only way to do it unless you get all new, smaller wire. As for your wiring problem, you haven't even told us what impedence the coils are.

I'm gonna assume that it's a dual 2 ohm sub.. Just run the + from each coil to one of the + on the amp... same with the -

The connections on the inside of the amp are hooked together, just 2 of each polarity for ease of fitting that 8 gauge wire in there.

That'll give you some parallel action down to one ohm.

Should be good.

Lose the fucking capslock, god damn. Though I can tell by your screen name you have it on all the damn time.

You can fit 0ga in smaller holes. Either use a small ziptie to compress the strands then jam it in the terminal, once it's in there good you clip the ziptie off, otherwise just trim strands with a sharp knife (rotate the cable to keep it even) until it fits.

yea my buddie is havin the same problem .. but he got a hdc3 15 d1 tho and an aq2200 .. same problem tho .. dunno how or the correct way to wire it to get it at 1ohm .. we ran -'s from amp to -'s on sub and +'s on sub to +'s on amp .. will that be at 1ohm? ..

btw the power and ground inputs on the aq2200 amp used 0 gauge so we didnt have no problem there i guess the 1200 didnt use 0 gauge inputs on that amp

you don't have to use both channels. it is a monoblock and whether you use both channels or one it will be the same.

kool .. so pretty much we ran it right and either one wouldve worked .. thx . but why did the amp have two - and + for then .. jw .. nvm didnt see that part up there .. lmao
