Touchscreen + Loud = Broken?

Hey,

For all the guys running carputers/touchscreen headunits with LOUD systems -

I'm building a pretty crazy car later this year once the exchange rate picks up so gear isn't obscenely expensive.

It's going to have a clamshell with 12 or 16 12's on 10kw+ and the aim is around mid 150's on music.

I have a 14" LCD touchscreen that I plan to mould into the dash.

My question is, will the bass totally ruin the screen? I heard some comment about the touchscreen in one of Steve's hoopty videos recently and it got me thinking about it.

14" touchscreens are pricey, I don't really want to ruin mine ;/ Would it be better on some sort of arm/panel mounting rather than flushed in?
