Its hard to explain what he does exactly, but there is a very wattery sound to his highs and bass. I describe it as rub-a-dub. I believe he may have actually even recorded some of this stuff in a bathroom or simulated that type of echo. The best albums I recommend: Sabres of Paradise - Haunted Dancehall Two Lone Swordsman - Stay Down Two Lone Swordsman - Tiny Reminders These will sound GREAT if you have a decent car stereo. And btw, this isn't boom boom boom techno or rap with a beat, its electronica where the bass itself is an instrument. It plays notes, all very low and highs are blips bleeps and organic splashes of water. some good sweeps here.
