Anyone Got Some Info On The New Memphis Shallow Mount Woofer Or The Kicker Solo Classic

i see memphis now has an shallow mount woofer and i have saw the new kicker solo classic has anyone got some info on how good either of them are doin i am lookin at them for a downfire box in my gmc sierra

my local shop carries the memphis. they install a lot, but i havent heard good things about them.

there sq subs not gunna hit 130 with em. they do sound good though...

thanks for the info im jus looking for something to give some sure enough bass in a downfire box in my gmc sierra.......does anyone know if shallow mount has an affect on the what notes a sub hits or how they sound

shallow mounts are almost always quieter and higher hitting than normal subs

dont expect to put up numbers or play 28hz with any shallow, they dont have the excursion or sensitivity for it.

but when you have no other option, it is pretty good

ive heard rockfords, kickers, and pioneers...pioneer is nicest imo, kicker needs to do some work on their shallows...

havent got any shallows.. but i do have a 2000 chevy ext cab.. i did have a rockford p3 downfire under the backseat and it wasnt shallow mount.. how much room do you got?

All shallow mount subs suck IMO. That sucks that u have no room for a regular sub

its an 04 extended cab with a box made of poly something or another its black but its for 10's and if i get 12's i probably will just cut it out

i aint quite sure yet on the subs cause i want 10's for less air space but i not sure how they gonna sound on the lower notes cause the only 10's i have ever heard are kicker cvt but as far as the amp im looking at planet hifonics or maybe jbl

if youre looking for shallow mounts get the RE ones.

the vid i saw on youtube looked like they do pretty good.
