Dr. Johnson
hey good idea. I wonder do you think the liquid you dip pliers and stuff in to insulate them would work? Or do you think it would be too thick? I may try to find some tool box liner and glue it on that might work too.
Dr. Johnson
Ok so I have finally fixed this and hopefully for the last time with this set up. I used washers with rubber on one side to lift the amp up so it doesn't touch the middle on the wood anymore. LOL yep that simple I think when I redo my system this summer I will do a different mounting system with rubber on multiple sides so the amps are isolated. I am going to change my DC audio level 3 12's to sealed from ported and make a rack for the amps to go under the box so it is not built on the side of it. anyways I will update in a few weeks if this continues to work. I did not want to deface the amp in anyway that is why I didn't do the rubber thing. Have a great day enjoying your music I know I will.
