Bigdaddy1986
I believe thats the right word. Just wired up the enclosure and as I was testing it one performed fine while the other just stood there like a bump on a log. Both are getting power tried to push in but wouldn't budge at all. Was wondering what options I have given the situation.
Chris from Mi
def sounds blown, but i've also seen it where the magnet shifted and pinched the coil. put a volt meter on it, and see what it says Quote Orion 2500D, Jbl Gto 75.4 Team Wolfpack Audio FSQ 15" d2, mb quart xover, tweets peerless 6.5 mids Alpine cda-105 optima up front Knu klm 1/

raytard
slinky coil is when it burns off the adhesive, or parts of the coil, and it unwraps from the former, and then wedges itself inside the motor. unless its a really nice sub, throw it out and get a new one, or try and get it waranteed.
