Neo_frog
So over the course of the years I've picked up a bit on how the whole suspension system works in my car and I've done tie rods, control arms, hub bearings, among some other little things on my own...but I don't know about other types of setups. Now I have a problem. Every system I put in this little car drops me about three inches. It takes it well and I haven't had any problems yet. I just put new springs, struts/mounts, sway bar bushings and a few other things for my trip to Florida, but this next system is going to be heavy. VERY heavy. I'm quite sure with all the batteries and subs, it's just not going to handle it. What do I do now? Quote Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Neo_frog
Basically, does anyone suggest performance suspension, bags, or something else? I'm really clueless about this one. Neo_frog
you got me on this one! maybe some HD air shocks? Hmm. Thanks man, I'll look into them. I'm not too worried about my chassis, but since it's gonna be a daily driver, I don't want my suspension to blow out from excessive weight Quote Need an install? badcayne
you can probably upgrade your coils to some heavy duty ones, or even go with a simple bag setup. it would be kinda hard to blow bags out due to weight, they handle around 2000lbs each bag. JayPhoenix
Definitly put some helper bags in to ease the weight off the suspension. Works wonders for keeping the look level and depending on the application is relatively easy to throw in.
