  1. Volfenhag is ok, but I would never get those over tpye r's. I had 2 12"s and i miss them. Sold them to a guy on here. Deff go with type r's.
  2. Find out where it goes too, if it goes to your steering rack, then its your power steering pump, if its your A/C compressor, then lines will be running to your radiator up front. Cant really tell form the pics.
  3. Yea, a clipped signal will just give distortion to the sub, therefore blowing it.
  4. Anyone running setups of tuning below 30hz? Thinking about trying to tune my box to 20hz but no sure how it would sound. Yes? No? Any comments?
  5. Whats your question? You already have your box specs for the new one. So build it and port it like u want. Ps. Fuck off.
  6. Havent heard anthing about this scrap metal but ive had numerous batts throughout the years, batcaps, red tops, yellow tops, regular caps, and kinetik. Ive never had a problem with the kinetiks, Most audio shops around here in va beach sell just kinetik, they were all about batcap but changed over to kinetik a little while ago. Like i said, I love my kinetiks.
  7. Nope, iraggi doesnt make an alot braket, and neither does anyone else for my 4.0L sohc motor. I'm going to have to make one up myself. Either that or take out my ac!
  8. Yea ill be running 2 iragi 300amp alts hopefully with mla when i get enough money, and 2 sundown saz-3000d with 4 kinetik 2400's
  9. Awesome, I'm thinking of picking up 2 btl's right now and maby 2 more later, Just saw the xxx again and couldnt believe the price vs the btl. I like sq, but more than that i just like it to drop. these 4 15's i have right now just arent hitting it right.
  10. Which is better Re XXX 18's or Fi fully loaded BTL's, pretty much the same specs, and why are BTL's so damn cheap?
  11. Look at the qts of the sub, its its below 0.05 i think its recommended for a sealed box, and anything 0.05 and above is ported.
  12. I think you should be able to hook a volt meter up to the output of the amp. if its putting out dc then its a bad amp, if its putting out ac then the amp is still good, check your rca's and such.
  13. Yea, I was thinking about walling it, but cant find box specs anywhere for the damn subs. I think i will just roll with these till i can afford my 4 btl's :hairtrick:
  14. I'm running 4 15" lanzar max pro's, subs up port back on 2 mtx 1501d's. I'm not worrying about layering it, I'm talking about the whole back hatch leaking air. Maby just a hell of alot of weatherstripping?
  15. Ive got a 99 explorer. I did my first meter yesterday and did a 143.3, one of my problems is that the rear hatch, rear windows, and doors are letting everything out, anybody have any recomendations?
  16. Just go to advance auto and ask for their headlight cleaning kit. After you wet sand the hell outta the headlights keep going to a higher grit. start with like a 100 then go to a 500 then go to a 1000 and i usually do a 2000grit. After you sand them they have a polish and sealer that go over it to keep it looking great.
  17. I'd pay that for 4 12's. For that price put em in an enclosure and bang the hell out of them lol :hairtrick:
  18. Ive had a problem before where the headunit isnt getting enough power, if that happens then the radio will shut off and take the 12v remote signal with it, causing your amps to turn off. Make sure your radio is getting enough power. Hook a multimeter up at the headunit and see what it drops down to, if its below 12v its too much, your amps are sucking all the power.
  19. I would recommend buying a trickle charger and charging each one individually. just cause it dropped doesnt mean you have a bad battery, just means the voltage is stabilizing on the battery. Give them a nice long charge and test them again.
  20. What are you running bro? Alt, batt, amps, electrical? Big 3?
