What car is it? Most cars already have stock 6x9's and its a easy swapout. I just replaced my stockers in my cavy and it took 15mins total. All i had to do was remove the cover from rear deck, unscrew the speaker and screw in the new one. hook up factory wires or wires from amp. done deal. Amazing differance. If the 6x9's are too large just make a thin wood adapter. Some adapters are available from ebay and work fine but they only like 15-20mins to make.

ok.

this is what you do.

just wire the 6x9's up and super glue them in place. :D

no but for real what size speakers are in the rear?

you would be better off replacing the stock size speakers with a component set that is the same size so you don't have to cut up the car.
