kryptonite Posted March 28, 2009 Report Share Posted March 28, 2009 As of now, i have a Pioneer 5900iB headunit with 4 volt preouts on it. My buddy has an AVIC-N1 that he wants to sell me for $200. Nothing is wrong with it, he just wants to buy a new Alpine and wants to get rid of the N1. I know the N1 has lower preout voltage, but would i be UPGRADING or DOWNGRADING by performance standards? I'm not in any NEED for a dvd player or a screen or any of the frills, though it'd be nice. Anyone have any insight or opinions about this predicament i am in?
