BURRITO Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 do the CST lift...its tthe best quality kit but of course when you lift your truck and put it on lets say 35's, you have to regear or it will just be a sleeper and that costs even more money....you could always do a mild lift like a 3 inch spindle and throw some 33's on it.... nah! just do a Hypertech programmer... badasschevy Posted March 31, 2009 Report Share Posted March 31, 2009 the fabtech kits arent bad. a friend of mine has the 6" kit (actually is a 8" lift with 37's)on his 02 2500 hd and hasnt had any issues but the normal wear and tear from the bigger tires affecting his steering components. as mentioned above the cst kit is another good kit. i'm trying to find the article one of the 4 wheel mags did a while back about the ifs chevy lifts and gave the pro's and cons about each kit. it was either petersons 4 wheel and offroad or 4wheeler.com. as soon as i find it i'll link it. center console: lvl 4 12 1.75 cu ft tuned 37htz alpine cda-9886 dc audio 120.4 infinity kappa 6.5" components Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
