Troy.. i have a 2002 gtp and just installed an ad244 alt which is 145amp stock alt from a 2005 escalade..it took a little bit of fabrication but nothing to bad. the ad244 can be purchased aftermarket up to 300amps or maybe 350. when i was searching for an alt the largest direct fit i could find was 220 amps. research the ad244 and you'll see its pretty solid, much bigger and more robust than that stocker u have. btw i paid $200 at o'reilly and its new not reman.
