shainemcconnell Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 A buddy and I have been thinking about starting to try to build a high SPL car (unsure of the style yet), we am pretty certain that we will use either 2 or 4 Fi BL15's. but we are trying to decide if it would be better to go with 1 or 2 high powered amps or 2 or 4 smaller powered amps. Ben Building Posted March 31, 2009 Report Posted March 31, 2009 Assuming power output is the same with 2 amps or 4, the only difference would probably be your personal preference. Do you want 2 long, sexy amps, or double the number of smaller ones? Obviously, you will want to make sure the impedances of the subs match up with the amps minimum load before you do anything though.
